RCBC rob-slay suspect gets CHR protection

MANILA, Philippines -- Saying he was under constant threat from those who killed his father, a suspect in the robbery-massacre at the Rizal Commercial Bank Corp. (RCBC) branch in Cabuyao, Laguna, has sought the protection of the Commission on Human Rights (CHR).

Jake Javier, 23, was placed under the protective custody of the CHR Tuesday, shortly after he was picked up in Sta. Maria, Bulacan, by the commission’s lawyers, his family and former Batangas Vice Governor Ricky Recto.

“I don’t trust the police anymore, especially after what they did to my father,” said Javier in Filipino.

Javier’s father, Vivencio, was killed by intelligence agents of the Batangas police who raided their house in the village of Pagaspas, Tanauan City, at midnight on May 22.

The police claimed father and son were members of the Lucido-Javier robbery gang who staged the heist and killed the 10 persons who were in the bank at the time.

Vivencio was one of four alleged suspects who were killed in three separate police operations in Batangas and Laguna one week after the robbery.

Provisional custody

CHR Chair Leila de Lima said the commission placed Javier under its custody after she consulted the two other CHR commissioners.

De Lima said Javier’s stay at the CHR was provisional.

“This is just a temporary physical custody. If a valid order from any court, like a warrant of arrest, is issued we will turn him over,” she said at a press briefing in Quezon City.

Javier, his mother and his lawyer later signed an agreement with De Lima regarding the conditions of his stay at the CHR.

Recto said he advised Javier’s family to go to the CHR the day after he learned of Vivencio’s killing and the threats to the family.

He said Vivencio, a former village captain, was one of his political supporters in Tanauan.

Reached on his mobile phone, Senior Supt. Aaron Fidel, head of Task Force RCBC, said the police respected the CHR decision to place Javier under its custody.

“He (Javier) can stay at the CHR as long as he wants,” he said.

Asked about the threats on Javier, he said the suspect was only “making up a story to cover up” his complicity in the case.

“We’re not behind any attempts to kill him. In fact, we want him alive so he can talk about what happened in that robbery-massacre,” Fidel said.

Fidel said Javier was one of six persons the police have charged with robbery with multiple homicide in connection with the bloody bank job.

He said one of the witnesses saw Javier enter the bank on the day of the incident.

He also lashed out at De Lima for “prejudging” the police team that shot and killed the elder Javier.

In an interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Jake Javier said he was asleep at home when the robbery occurred on May 16.

He said he only learned about the incident when he saw it on television at noon that day.

Well he did fall for it but seeing it was NuSkin in the logbook, he decided to leave, wasted 300 pesos on those fuckers!

ITs like this, the NSE Philippines or NuSkin people know very well that you students are eager to work for a company with an attractive offer! Admit it, being a fresh grad or about to graduate, you would love the feeling of a waiting job with a starting salary of 15k to 30k per month!

3. They will tell you that you exactly fit the position they are looking for. Ask what position, and they will tell you junior executive.

6. You decide to ask the nature of the job. Then they will give you a reply "it will be very unprofessional to discuss this over the phone so we would like to invite you to come at the 15th floor Octagon bldg."
7. Knowing that you are a student, they will now use "sindak" warfare! They will tell you "we are very professional here. Please be on time for your pre-qualification interview and I am blocking out my schedule for you. So do I confirm our meeting?" Once you give in to those words, thats it, you are caught!

Now just to open your thinking dear students, an interview is different from a product presentation! What they will do to you is a product presentation and not an interview! They just used the word interview to lure you in.

Salary is different from commissions. Even look it up in the labor code. When you say salary, every 15th or 30th you are paid if you work or not. Once you enter, you receive compensation! Commissions is based on sales. No sales, no commissions. What these people will give you is actually commissions! And not a fixed salary as what they originally offered you over the phone! So if you do not sell, you do not get anything. Plain and simple! They used the term "salary" just to lure you in!

When a company offering a real job calls you, they right away give the job description. They do not tell you "it is unprofessional for us to discuss the nature of the job here".

Last but not least, take note of the word "professional". They will use it para sindakin kayo. They will use that word to cover up that they are a networking company.

Dear students, if you would really like to get into networking though, I suggest that you choose the company for proper training!

If you will notice dear student, people has been ranting about NSE Philippines or NuSkin using deceit tactics, misrepresentation, and misleading strategies! They are not against the company nor the product, they are pissed on how they recruit people by lying! Yes, they lie! If you ask them "are you networking", they say "no we are not". Hello!? Not networking but getting incentives when they recruit? I think this is way off!

Now you know the keywords, what is it you have to do?
1. Don't get carried away and probe. Ask them the nature of the job, ask them the name of the company. A real corporate job will be trasparent over the phone about the nature of your job.
2. Ask if it is networking or MLM. If they deny it, probe more.
3. Ask for a website or a company profile to be emailed to you.

Now once you have caught that they are NuSkin people, then simply say "sorry I am not interested" if you are not really interested. BUT, if you want to become a business person moulded on a foundation of using deceit, mislead, misrepresent, and lies, then by all means join NuSkin! That is how they will train you dear student.

Someone will call you saying that they are inviting you to be part of a FREE MILLIONAIRE MIND INTENSIVE SEMINAR in Manila and after that, you will be part of an elite team. The Millionaire Mind Intensive Seminar is usually held at Singapore with T. Harv Eker as the speaker, therefore, this NuSkin group is using the name of the seminar in order to recruit people.

Once you show interest, they will tell you to meet them in a coffee shop, usually Starbucks, and ask you to list down your net worth.

Now you become curious and ask what this is all about, and here is where you start becoming fishy.

They tell you that they will explain the team and Millionaire Mind Intensive Seminar when you meet because it is too complicated. Then you may decide to ask if this is an invite to an MLM company or networking...

Their answer? NO it is not! If you ask "are you sure this is not", then they even get mad at you!

Now you meet in Starbucks, you buy food, you pay for gas or public transpo and when you get there, they explain about the FREE Millionaire Mind Intensive seminar and what you will learn.

But is it really free?

NO IT IS NOT! If you want to be part of the Millionaire Mind Intensive seminar, then you have to be part of their NuSkin group! You have just been kidnapped and duped again!

Now if you still want to take the seminar but not be a part of their NuSkin group, you will have to pay daw consultation fee which is about 10k per hour!

I did a search in Google and Yahoo on other legit MLM and Direct Selling companies in the Philippines like Amway, FLP, Avon, etc and I have learned that NuSkin or NSE Philippines got the most rants!

No it is not the products, in fact, NuSkin got potentially good products...

It is the members and way of recruiting many people are angry at!

In sales, we are taught never to misrepresent and to be transparent with what are offer is. So I do not understand why these cult members of NuSkinism have to misrepresent and deceive people when being asked! Maybe they think that bringing these innocent victims into their "church" is proving effective.

It absolutely is not! They use names of Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump saying that MLM is a good business, so why oh why can't they say right away on first call that their offer is MLM!? They have to waste their victims money!

Robert Kiyosaki has always stressed out that if you want to be a good entrepreneur, get into sales, and MLM or network marketing companies give the best training. That is true. But NuSkin??? Teaching you to misrepresent and deceive? Well they are absolutely teaching you how to sell yourself to the police towards jail!

And wow, more hate blogs! You guys wouldn't wanna be in this fucked up scheme! MLM in the Philippines is really trash! Thanks to NuSkin! Well in fairness to Amway, someone gave me a call and he directly said Amway and gladly explained the whole business thing over the phone. Even if I rejected him, since he was honest to say right away that Amway is networking and he answered me directly with no BS, I referred him to a friend. But NuSkin? NO FUCKIN WAY! When I woke up today I saw this text message from ABC, daniel’s friend. He asked me to refer to him 20 contacts. I was pissed off. Let me tell you what happened to me and tintin the past week.


Thursday, Januay 10.


Tintin got a call from ABC. I don’t want to mention his name kasi he’s also a Mapuan. Pero we really don’t know him personally. We were even wondering where he got tintin’s number. Anyway, ABC was asking Tintin if she is interested in having a part time job. Sakto we are really looking for one so she said yes. She was told that she’ll be earning 15,000-30,000 pesos, not bad for a part time job. She was asked to come to their office the next day at 630pm, the address was 15th floor Octagon Bldg, San Miguel Ave. in Ortigas. The whole conversation daw was really fast and the line was choppy so she wasn’t able to ask for the company name and some other important details. All she got was the address. When tintin told me about it, we were both excited. But since siya lang ung tinawagan I asked if I could come along and bring my resume just in case pwede rin akong magapply. Excited din ako. Lol.


Friday, January 11.


After class, we went straight to Megamall to have lunch there tapos magliwaliw muna coz 630pm pa nga ung appointment dun sa “PART TIME JOB”.


When we got at the 15th floor of the Octagon Bldg we saw this huge PHARMANEX sign. There were lots of people on that floor. All of them were wearing business attires. I was thinking if we were on the wrong building or something kasi obviously we were on casual attire tapos kami lang ung mukang mga bata dun. Parang nawawalang bata kami. We didn’t have any idea what was going on. There was this small office na parang may nagaganap na interview. Basta wala kaming alam. Tapos napansin namin na beside that office e merong room which was filled with products. Tintin and I got the idea na NETWORKING BUSINESS eto. We wanted to leave the place right then and there. Pero ABC and DEF, parang upline something ni ABC, started to talk to us. Asked us why we wanted to have a part time job and what we would do to the money that we would get from “business”. Small talks lang. I don’t remember anything about them telling us the name of the “business.


After minutes of waiting, we were told to go inside a room with the rest of the people that were there. Sobrang dami namin dun. Cguro at least a hundred. Tintin and I were asked to sit apart. Pero dahil wala kaming kausap pareho and we were sitting there that seemed like forever(sobrang tagal kasi kami pinaghintay), I asked her na lumipat nalang sa tabi ko so we wouldn’t be bored to death.


It was almost 7pm. The presentation started. I saw the name “SYNERGY 1 VENTURES’ on top of the ppt slide. They were talking about NU SKIN ENTERPRISES, its background, the products they sell, and how we could be their partners. The whole presentation took 2 hours to finish. Grabe tagal. Pero I got interested. Ewan ko. When I heard I had to pay 12,600 pesos to be their partner, I was shocked. They said it was a small amount to pay dahil you’ll get 15k per month naman.


After the presentation. We were asked by DEF if we were interested. We said yes, but still told him that we have a problem getting the 12,600 kasi we’re still students and we do not know where to find the money. He was doing all the talking. He said he was able to pay for his college tuition fees since he started, he was able to go to hongkong, etc. because of the business. Masarap pakinggan diba. He said we are required to pay that Monday. GUlat ako e. I was thinking on how we can produce that big sum of money in just 2 days given that those 2 days are a Saturday and a Sunday. We were shown the products tapos un. He lent us a magazine that we could read. The magazine was obviously about NU SKIN din. He told us to meet them that Monday.


I was shocked pero I was determined to get the money and join them. SObra. I was so convinced with all DEF’s words that were stuck in my head (paying tuition fees on my own, helping my parents.. etc.. ). Tapos un.


Saturday and Sunday came. I wasn’t able to get the money I needed. I went through my mom’s things and found my passbook. I have 7000+ there. I planned on withdrawing 7K from my savings account. Uhm.. I was thinking twice. Pero dahil sa naiisip ko nanaman ung mga sinabi ni DEF e aion I took the passbook and put it in my bag.


Monday.


DEF called me while I was in my class and scheduled the meeting. I told him mga 3pm nalang cguro kasi nga baka matraffic kami on the way there. I told him I was able to borrow 5k lang. he said it was okay and that he’ll find a way to help me come up with the rest of the money.


Tintin and I talked about it tapos aion I changed my mind. Not that I was influenced by her not to join “the business” but I was kinda hesitant kasi. She said if im not 100% sure then I might as well not pursue it. I texted DEF and told him im not joining anymore but I’ll meet up with him to return the magazine.


When he approached me sabi niya agad “What’s the problem?” tapos I told him ayaw ko na. Then he sweet talked me again. He said ok lang daw kung 5k muna ibigay ko. I was persuaded the second time. Ewan ko what was going on inside my head. I think that was greed. Lol. Pero honestly he was so good at talking. I was so convinced in joining… This second time he didn’t say the name of the business again. NU SKIN and PHARMANEX lang. tapos un. I said wala pa ung 5K sakin I have to get it from a friend. He said to fill up a form para mareserve ung slot ko since 5 lang daw ung kukunin. He said to meet with him the next day. And then he gave me a brochure.


Tintin was so mad at me. Kasi nmn daw hindi ko pinanindigan ung sinabi ko na hindi n ko sasali. Even ako nagulat e. Sa totoo lang hindi ko lam kung bakit bigla akong napaOO. Weird nga. Parang nahypnotize. Lol.


Tapos that night tintin did a research and found so many blog entries about it. Puro negative ung nakita ko. Biro mo kaya pala di nila masabi ung name ng company nila is because sobrang dami ng names na ginagamit nila. Ung nakita ko Synergy 1 Ventures pero meron pang Synergy Ventures tapos Synergy Global International. Tapos I read na pagkajoin mo e bibigyan ka ng homework na MAGGGAWA KA NG LIST NG 300 CONTACTS NA IREREFER MO AT TATAWAGAN. Tapos hindi ko pa nakitang registered sa DTI or any government offices ung company nila. Sabi nila registered daw sila sa SEC pero sabi ng mom ni tin madali lang daw magparegister dun sa SEC e. Although registered sila sa SEC, I still think they’re illegally operating. Kahit internationally recognized ung NU SKIN at kahit anu mang product or company un at KAHIT SAANG LUPALOP PA NG MUNDO NAKAREGISTER YANG COMPANY NILA PERO HINDI NAKAREGISTER NG MATINO SA PILIPINAS HINDI SIYA LEGAL DITO! They are going to make people sell medicines pero they do not even stress na BFAD approved un! Hay. People these days are just so into money that they deceive people just to get rich. Cruel noh.


I texted DEF the next day telling him that I wont be joining “again”. SAbi niya pumunta daw ako sa office niya still kasi dapat ko daw ibalik ung brochure na binigay niya sakin. What the f*ck! E photocopy lang naman un. As if namang hindi niya kaya magreproduce nung brochure na un. Kung mayaman siya he wouldn’t even bother asking me to bring it back to him. Another tactic. Im so glad I didn’t fall for it again.

I have nothing against MLM's (multilevel networking), pero ang ikinaasar namin dito ay ang fishy style of recruiting nila. kung titingnan mo, they talk to you all this good stuff pero hindi man nila ma-mention ng matino ang products nila. at ang legalities and policies ng company nila.

earning money is not bad. but if you earn money by "sweet talking" people and taking adavantage of thier vulnerability for money, hindi na ata tama yun.

we are mapuans. ika nga ng t-shirt na nakita ko na gawa ni lennie, "we can do better". kaya nga tayo nag-aaral ng mabuti ay para hindi tayo mauwi sa ganito. oo, nahihirapan rin ang ating mga magulang na pag-aralin tayo sa mapua, tapos malalaman lang din nila na nagnenetworking lang tayo? tapos pera pa nila ang ipapangbayad natin?

hindi ko siguro maibigay sa mga magulang ko ang mga uno sa subjects ko, pero may sapat akong respeto na ibinibigay sa kanila para patunayan na hindi mauuwi sa wala ang pinaghihirapan nila para sa pag-aaral ko.

Nothing against NuSkin, their company is legit. What pisses me off are the business practices their members are doing and teaching their fellow members! Yes I read some are rich now, but up to what point??? If you think the training at NSE Philippines or NuSkin will do you good in the future, BULLSHIT! I do not think MISLEADING, LYING, and MISREPRESENTING will do you good, they may even wipe out your money due to court cases you may be facing!

Beware of NuSkin aka NSE Philippines

I am through with all the bullshit this company has been putting up with me and my friends. They are wasting our money, time, and gasoline through misrepresentations and "kidnap" strategies, that is why I decided to create this blog and expose it country wide for every Filipino to see and take note of.

I was victimized by their bullshits twice, and many of my friends cancelled their important meetings because of these people from NuSkin Philippines saying that this is a business expansion and they need an exectuive director for this.

I am a businesman and I run 2 busineses already that are making huge amounts of income, therefore, I have no interest in these networking or MLM schemes. Whenever someone offers me to join in one, I always turn them down and nothing can convince me to join one.

Allow me first to share you my experiences and then I will share you my friends. Along the way, I will be highlighting key words. Those are the words you guys should take note of incase you get calls or emails from these people.

Incident # 1:
I got a call from this doctor saying that he was referred to me and that he is in need for a business partner for the expansion of a distribution business. Being the businessman I am, I was quite interested. In business, when we say expansion, we mean branching out or opening new divisions. Partner also meaning you own shares in the business. I then asked him what is the name of your company and he said it quite fast NSE Philippines. My mistake of not Googling it, but I clearly asked him "is this a networking or multi-level marketing offer" and he said "no it is not". He then told me to go to the 15th floor of the Octagon Bldg in Meralco Ave, ORtigas Center. On that day, I canceled two meetings because of this thinking that this is a new biz investment and not an MLM or Networking thing given the fact that he said it is not MLM or networking. Ok, so when I got to Octagon, I went to the guard to sign in the log book and guess what I saw, "NuSkin 15/f". I cursed really loudly saying "PUTANGINANG MGA NUSKIN NA YAN!!!" because I canceled an important meeting for this just to find out that it was a networking company I previously denied.

So pissed, I decided to take revenge and I called him saying would be in Octagon by 8:30pm. Meeting time was 6pm and I was actually there 5:30! I left right away. I called back at 8pm and I said I will be there 9:30pm and he said that he will wait. 9:45 came and he called me asking where I was and I said "on the way in EDSA, I will be there in 20 mins", but I was actually at home already. He then kept calling and I never picked up my phone.

I had to run from Laguna to Ortigas just to put up with this bullshit! Wasted more than 600 pesos gas in effect.


Incident # 2:
I got an email from this guys asking me if I would like to be a trainer for the T Harv Eker Secrets of the Millionaire Mind Seminar, and since I love teaching people how to be good entrepreneurs, I said "of course, but what is this all about?" He then called me up on my cellphone and told me that he is looking for members for his team elite that not only makes loads of money but will be training people also to do this. I said that I am interested but I asked him "are you sure this is not an invite to an MLM or networking company" and he said "no". I said "are you sure because if this is, better not waste your time on me because no convincing will let me join a single MLM or networking company" and he even said "it is not, I am telling you this is a training program based on Harv Eker's Secret of the Millionaire Mind." I then scheduled it in Greenbelt at Italianis Restaurant Dinner Time.

When we met, we first ordered food and I ordered an expensive pizza, then he talked about the training program but guess what, he said that there is practical training through fieldwork and I said "whaaaaaaa????" and then he said "you will also be part of an international company distributing health products..." and then I cut him short "wait, is this NuSkin?" and he said "actually, this company is..." when I again cut him short and asked with a raised tone "Is this NuSkin?"

He then gave in and said "yes it is" but before he can start yapping, I said in a loud voice that people can hear me "BULLSHIT! I ASKED YOU OVER THE PHONE IF THIS IS NETWORKING AND YOU SAID NO! DONT BULLSHIT ME FUCKER! NUSKIN IS MLM AND YOU SAID THIS IS NOT ONE! YOU FUCKIN WASTED MY TIME MORON! YOU AND YOUR NUSKIN COMPANY SHOULD BURN IN HELL! PAY FOR THE FOOD!" I then slammed the table and left. He was stunned!

The following week, I asked the staff of Italianis what happened to him and they told me that he did not have enough money to pay so he called up a firend to borrow money from because the bill was 1.5k.


Here are some of my friend's experiences:

Incident 1: (This came directly from her blog)
I generally don't bother to answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. I was in the middle of something when someone called me, ang cute kase ng phone number nya puro 2, kaya sinagot ko haha. Sabi niya... she is from a US Based Multinational Company and offering a part-time job with a compensation of 20-30k monthly.

They were looking for a Junior Executive DAW at ni refer daw ako ng friend ko. Kase sabi ng friend ko DAW I have the qualities that they are looking for... HARDWORKING (ahem!), COMITTED AND DEDICATED TO WORK(ay tama ule), COMPETITIVE AND GOAL ORIENTED(ako talaga hinahanap nila). Tapos sabay tanong niya... is that TRUE Ms.Gail?
Syempre sagot ko YES! hahaha!

Meron pa sya tanong na kung studying or working na daw ba ako. Sabi ko studying, ask nya where? sabi ko UP sabay sabi nya... Our company is looking for people from UP, Ateneo, UST and Lasalle. Ang bilis kasi magsalita nito hindi ako makatanong. Basta haba pa ng usapan namin na puro siya lang nagsasalita at sinasagot ko lang tanung nya. Then she asked me when can I go to their office for a job interview. I told her that I am busy this week. Sabi ko next week pa open sched ko. "How about Monday next week? Are you free?" she said. E wala pa naman ako sked on Monday saka mukhang magandang job to saka pwede part time e. Napa OO tuloy ako sabay sab niya "Ill just text you the details and please wear Smart casual."

Here's her text message,
My name is Ms. Gyzel Japones, My office is located at 15th floor octagon bldg. San Miguel Ave., Ortigas Pasig. See you on Monday by next week, it's 3:30pm June 23.

Parang duda ko sa name... Japones? meron ba ganun? I googled it, walang result.

She did not even give the name of the company, So i texted her again asking what's their company's name. When she replied, she said "NSE Philippines."

I googled NSE Philippines.... VOILA!

Salamat sa mga bloggers, there a lot of blogs out there ranting about NSE Philippines. Hindi naman ako gnun nlng maniniwala noh! Yung mga nabasa ko na blogs 2007 pa at hindi pa NSE Philippines ang ginagamit nila kundi Synergy One Global. Hello? 2008 na at bakit hindi ko alam to? May pa Junior executive pang hinahanap eh NETWORKING lang pala to. TAE!!!


Incident 2:
A friend of mine one time wanted to borrow money from me to fly back to Davao. Well guess the reason why?

My friend lives in Davao and is looking for a job based in Davao to take care also of her sick mom.

She got a call from NSE Philippines, a distributorship for health and consumer products and they are looking for an executive badly needed na daw and she was told this was sure already. My friend who was so excited for it. She even never applied in NSE but was excited by the news. She was told that the interview will be held in Manila at the 15th floor Octagon bldg., Ortigas Center, hence, she sold her cellphone for a one way plane ticket. She even told her mom about this and her mom was happy and allowed her to work in Manila because the position seemed high. According to her, the offer was up to 50k per month and for a life in Davao, that was very high that she can clearly support her mom.

What she wanted was a job, and not a member ship in any MLM or networking. The following week when she got to Manila, she went straight to Octagon bldg. at the 15th floor or the floor of the scammers! Guess what, when she got there, she cried. She said no to NuSkin way before and when she met the one who invited her, she could not help but pour out her sorrows for bullshiting about this!

In the first place, why didn't the invitor even ask her about her situation and the invitor knew she was in Davao and flew to Manila for this. My friend had no 20k, the joining fee for NuSkin and she flew to Manila coz she wanted an immediate job with a fixed 15-30 salary.

She right away gave me a call, of course nahihiya siya but when she told me what happened, I told her not to give back the money I lent her for the plane ticket back to Davao. I booked her a flight and I paid it instead. I also gave her extra cash incase of anything. See, I lost another 2k due to the NuSkin bullshit!


To you readers thinking of joining this as a training to be a good entrepreneur, do you think misrepresenting and misleading people is the proper way of doing business? Yes you may make money from NuSkin, but for how long? Have you even ever thought of how many people you may get pissed off?

That is what NuSkin training is all about. Misrepresenting, misleading and lying to other people or "potential investors". These are not the only incidents of NuSkin people bullshitting, but there is just so much of it!

Now, do not think I am writing this because I am part of another MLM or networking, absolutely wrong. I feel all MLM companies in the Philippines are like NuSkin, that is why I do not want to join a single one. I do not want to lose potential business, nor be called a scammer! I am not a liar too! Why not say "yes it is networking" when being asked in the start? Afraid of losing people? Dont you guys think it is even more stupid not to say it MLM and when you meet up with the person, you admit it actually is? I think that is more bullshit then anything!

They teach you daw to be professional businessmen. Professional?

Is misrepresenting a show of a professional businessman?

Is lying a show of a professional businessman?

If you think it is, I can't wait to watch you on the evening news being sued in court!

Now that you all know the keywords, what are you to do?

1. Ask them what company and what is the nature of the biz. Normally, they give you a phone call and from there, you have to extract the eggs. NuSkin people makes use of those words above, so take note of them. If they say "NSE PHILIPPINES", then that is NuSkin. If they do not give you a direct answer but instead says "me and my partners will discuss the business with you", then read below.

2. Once you get that, ask if it is MLM or multi-level marketing. If they say "it is not", ask what it is. If they say we sell consumer products and health care, ask them to email you a visual material. If they do not do that, then its networking. Put down the phone in that case, but do not forget to tell them you are not interested.

3. To make sure, ask for their email addresses. If they say that it is not an MLM or networking or anything like it, ask them to sign an agreement. You may email or fax it. Put their if it is an MLM company or networking, they will pay for your food, gas, and parking plus you have the option to join or not. Normally, they will not do this unless they got money to waste. If they say yes, you choose the resto and get an expensive one.


Remember, a non-mlm company will even send you company profiles and pictures.

4. About the seminar, ask about the name of the seminar sponsor and do research on google. NSE or NuSkin makes use of reknowned entrepreneurial seminars like Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad, or Harv Eker's Secrets of the Millionaire Mind.


The reason why I am writing this against NuSkin and maybe later on against those MLM companies here who does unethical business practices is because of what has happened to me and my friends. I just feel I can't take their bullshits and victimizing anymore, especially to what happened to my friend from Davao.
